Gallery Instructions

I'd like to create a photo gallery for the class.

Here's what I'd like you to do:

  1. Get a digital photo of yourself that will look decent at around 100x100 pixels. It should probably be just head-and-shoulders, but the goal is to make you recgnizable.

I would prefer you do this in groups. Go out and take each other's pictures.

  2. Store your picture as a gif or a jpeg, and crop and resize it so the resulting image is about 100 pixels wide. I think pictures that are approximately square look nice, but any height between 50 and 200 pixels would be OK.
  3. For this part of the assignment, you should turn in two files in your mp1 directory in the svn repository:

    1. A file named account.jpeg, where account is your CCS account name, with the jpeg.
    2. A file named account.txt, which should be a copy of this html snippet, filled in with information about yourself for the gallery.
I'll post the results in the class gallery.

Note: Although submitting a picture is required, we will respect your privacy. If you prefer not to have your picture included in the class photo album, please notify me privately by email. --Prof. Wand
