Welcome!

9/4/2019T08:00

This is the website for CS5001, Intensive Foundations of Computer Science and CS5003 (the associated lab) for the Fall 2019 Quarter for Align students at the San Francisco campus.

In both CS5001 and CS5003, you will be using your laptops to work on coding examples and problems. Please bring your laptop to each class meeting. We will be using an Integrated Development Environment called PyCharm to develop our Python programs for the course, and you should go ahead and install the necessary tools as soon as possible. If you can install the tools before the first class (which will be Thursday, September 5th, at 6pm), that would be great. If you have any trouble installing the tools, there will be an opportunity to get help during the first class.

If you have any questions before class begins, feel free to email Chris at cgregg@northeastern.edu. We look forward to seeing you on Thursday!
