As of the evening of Friday, Sept. 18, 2020, the CDC guidance once more supports the contact testing that is in effect at Northeastern University and the State of Massachusetts. However, the newest version of the CDC guidance is now silent on whether it is a good idea to do public health surveillance of Covid-19 using antigen testing (as done at Northeastern University and most other universities in America). Clearly, Northeastern University and other universities remain committed to this regime of public health surveillance, in order to maintain a safe campus.
