Lab 5: Practice reading code

1 Introduction

This lab is intended to provide practice reading and understanding code, reading and understanding tests, bug-finding, bug-fixing, and writing test cases.

You will work on this lab in Hourglass, in the “Lab – Practice Reading Code” entry. As this is a lab rather than an actual exam, Hourglass will not enforce the same lockdown requirements as a real exam, so don’t worry about getting “kicked out” by mistake.

This "exam" will close at the end of day so you don’t confuse it for the real thing.

2 Schedule

• Work on problems 1 and 2 for 50 minutes.

• As a lab, discuss problems 1 and 2 for 10 minutes.

• Work on problem 3 for half an hour.

• As a lab, discuss problem 3 for the remaining 10 minutes.
